Storylines to Watch
- QB Deshaun Watson expected to play in preseason finale — Watson will take the field for the first time in the preseason on Saturday against the Seahawks. It will be his first game action since his final game of the 2023 season in November. Watson has taken the majority of reps throughout practices — including joint practices with the Vikings — but has not played in the preseason. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said they will determine later in the week how much Watson will play in the preseason finale.
- Browns starters expected to play — Stefanski also said that all of their starters should expect to play in the final preseason game. They will work throughout the week on how much each starter will play, with the intention to prepare both their minds and bodies for a 17-game season.
- No current decision on Seahawks starters — During Monday's press conference, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said he did not make a decision yet on who would be playing. Macdonald said he planned to talk with his players before the final decision was made. The Browns could see some of the Seahawks starters when they take the field at Lumen Field, but a decision is bound to come as the week progresses.
