Browns record vs. Eagles

  • The Browns have the advantage in the all-time record against the Eagles 32-17-1.
  • The Browns are 14-10 on the road against the Eagles.
  • The last time the two teams met, the Browns beat the Eagles 22-17 in November 2020.

Storylines to Watch

  • How the Browns defense applies pressure to QB Jalen Hurts – The Browns will face another dynamic quarterback in Jalen Hurts who knows how to use his feet and can make plays. This season, Hurts has thrown for 930 passing yards on 90 completions and four touchdowns. However, Hurts has struggled under pressure this season. He's taken 13 sacks, tied for 11th most in the league, and has a 46.2 completion percentage. Hurts has thrown two touchdowns and two interceptions with a 66.7 passer rating when under pressure. If the Browns pass rush can apply pressure and limit Hurts' ability to find his receivers and make plays, they could force necessary turnovers. Hurts has a total of five fumbles this season, along with four total interceptions.
  • How the Browns run defense limits RB Saquon Barkley – The Browns run defense will have a big target to contain in the run game with RB Saquon Barkley, who is third in the league with 435 rushing yards on 73 carries and four touchdowns this season. He's had six total explosive runs this season, with his longest carry of the season for 65 yards, and recorded two games with over 100 rushing yards. This season, the Browns are allowing an average of 141.6 rushing yards per game.
  • How QB Deshaun Watson commands the offense – The Browns have to establish some offensive rhythm in Week 6, finding a balance in the run and pass game. They are averaging 96.6 rushing yards per game and 142.8 passing yards per game through the first five weeks of the season. On the flip side, the Eagles have given up an average of 128.8 rushing yards per game and and 237 passing yards per game this season. If the Browns can use the run game to open up big plays in the pass game, they could create the necessary offensive flow.
