Browns record vs. Bengals
- The Bengals hold the all-time regular season record against the Browns 53-48.
- The Browns are 30-20 against the Bengals at home.
- The last time the Browns faced the Bengals at home on Sept. 24, 2023, Cleveland beat Cincinnati 24-3.
Storylines to Watch
- Head coach Kevin Stefanski's success against the Bengals — Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has a history of beating Cincinnati, owning a 6-2 record against the Bengals as he enters his fifth season with the Browns. In one of the losses, occurring in Week 18 of the 2023 season, many offensive and defensive starters did not play for the Browns. Bengals QB Joe Burrow has been sacked 20 times and has thrown five interceptions in his six matchups against the Browns with Stefanski as head coach.
- How the Browns secondary can limit WR Ja'Marr Chase — After a slow start to the season in Weeks 1 and 2, Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase is averaging 117 receiving yards and more than a touchdown per game over the last four weeks. Already, the Browns have faced a gauntlet of talented receivers in Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb, Giants WR Malik Nabers and the duo of Eagles receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. CB Denzel Ward and the Browns secondary have limited team's number one receiving options for the most part, but has given up game-changing plays on long receptions.
- How the Browns receiving corps steps up in place of Amari Cooper — Sunday will be the Browns' first game since trading WR Amari Cooper to the Bills. Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore are now the team leading wide receivers with 248 and 95 receiving yards, respectively. As the Browns work through the usage of their pass catchers, each could see an increase in usage on Sunday, in addition to WR Cedric Tillman, who has three receptions for nine yards this season.
