Storylines to Watch
- How the Browns pressure QB Russell Wilson — QB Russell Wilson made his return at quarterback in Week 7 for the Steelers, and since then, the Steelers have not lost a game. Wilson's veteran presence at the helm of the offense has played an important role in their success in recent weeks, as the Steelers sit at 8-2 and lead the AFC North. In his four games this season, Wilson has completed 73 of 121 passing attempts for 942 passing yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. Wilson has also been sacked a total of 12 times over four games. The Browns pass rush will have to apply ample pressure to Wilson and limit his ability to throw the ball to available receivers.
- How the Browns respond in short week — The Browns are coming off a 35-14 loss to the Saints in Week 11, only to host the Steelers just four days later. They return home to host a division opponent and rival in the Steelers, and look to claim another win on the season. The Browns will have to put the loss to the Saints quickly behind them as they look to improve on all three sides of the ball to come out with needed divisional win. The Browns claimed a win against another division opponent in the Ravens when they beat Baltimore in Week 8 for their second win of the season.
- How the Browns limit WR George Pickens — The Browns secondary will have a tough matchup with Steelers WR George Pickens, who has showcased his speed and athleticism in his three seasons in Pittsburgh. Through 10 games this season, Pickens has recorded 48 receptions for 728 yards and two touchdowns. His longest catch this season was for 44 yards, and he's averaging 15.2 yards per reception this season. He's also shown a connection with Wilson, as in four with Wilson, Pickens has a total of 293 yards and two touchdowns.
