The Cleveland Browns will travel to Las Vegas and face the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024 at 4:25 p.m. EST.

Matchup

  • The Raiders lead the all-time record against the Browns 15-10.
  • The Browns are 7-8 on the road against the Raiders.
  • The last time the two teams met, the Browns lost to the Raiders 16-14 on Dec. 20, 2021.

Storylines to Watch

  • How the Browns re-create offensive rhythm — The Browns struggled once again in Week 3 to create offensive rhythm or find a balance in the run and pass game. The Browns had 69 net rushing yards and a 148 net passing yards. They had 16 total first downs, and converted just 4 of 14 third-down attempts. QB Deshaun Watson connected with WR Amari Cooper twice in the end zone for two touchdowns, and Cooper led the receivers with seven receptions for 86 receiving yards; however, the Browns have to establish consistency in their offensive flow.
  • How the Browns defense limits the Raiders in the pass game — Through the first three weeks of the regular season, the Raiders have found success in the pass game. They are averaging 244.7 passing yards per game, which is fourth most in the NFL this season. QB Gardner Minshew has a number of different threats in the passing game with 6x Pro Bowler WR Davante Adams and rookie TE Brock Bowers. Through the first three games, Adams has 18 receptions for 209 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Bowers has 18 receptions for 197 receiving yards.
  • How the Browns offensive line improves protection — The Browns offensive line dealt with a number of injuries in Week 3 and had to shuffle players around as the game continued. However, they struggled to protect Watson and limit the number of sacks and hits he took. As the Browns work through the injuries to their offensive line and lineups for Week 4 against the Raiders, protecting the quarterback and limiting penalties will be areas of focus for the offensive line and the offense as a whole.
