The Browns welcomed fans to practice on Thursday, where they took part in predominantly walkthrough-speed team periods after individual drills.
"We'll adjust some of the reps and the walkthrough reps to get guys prepared for the game but want to continue on our progression and getting ready for this season," head coach Kevin Stefanski said of their approach to Thursday's practice.
Here are some quick observations from Thursday's practice:
RB D'Onta Foreman is back in action
A week after suffering a neck injury at The Greenbrier, RB D'Onta Foreman was back on the practice field Thursday at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus.
The running back sustained an injury via helicopter to a nearby hospital. His X-rays and CT scan were negative, and he rejoined the team.
Foreman participated in an agility drill to start practice, chopping his feet over foam pads before running through blocking pads.
The six-year running back is in the mix for a role in the backfield as well as on kick or punt return.
QB Notes
Before Tuesday's practice, Stefanski announced that QB Deshaun Watson would not play in Saturday's game, naming QB Jameis Winston as the starting quarterback.
During the team's 7-on-7 period, which was at near-full speed, Winston threw a strike to WR David Bell, who made a diving grab to secure the catch and drew a big cheer from the crowd.
Later in the drill, Huntley took off on a scramble, running for a gain of around 15 yards before being touched down.
DE Myles Garrett is for the fans
Browns fans were met with an unfortunately timed severe storm Tuesday, preventing them from attending practice. On Thursday, the stands were packed with boisterous Browns fans, eager to watch their team get to work.
During 11-on-11 drills, in between getting in on the action, DE Myles Garrett ran over to the stands and tossed a football back and forth. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year had a smile on his face and came back over towards the fans for a second round of catch after a few minutes.

Other injury updates
In addition to those on the active/physically unable to perform and active/non-football injury lists, WR Jerry Jeudy, DE Za’Darius Smith, S Juan Thornhill, LBs Tony Fields and Jordan Hicks, G Michael Dunn and DT Shelby Harris did not practice Thursday.
"No update, I think he'll be okay," Stefanski said of Smith before practice on Tuesday. "He banged knees there with Jerome Ford. Kind of a weird injury, but ultimately, he'll be okay, but pretty sore."
