Wills was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and did not participate in practice on Thursday of this week. He returned to practice on Friday and was a limited participant.
"It was good to get him back out on the field moving around, getting in the individual drills I think is really important," head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "Continues to put every effort he can into getting back. But very good to see him out there."
Stefanski said they will use the next 48 hours to work through their starting left tackle decision.
RT Jack Conklin is listed as questionable for Week 1. Conklin first returned to practice on Aug. 27 as he also continues to work his way back from a season-ending knee injury he endured in Week 1 of the 2023 regular season.
