Injury Report Week 7 10.18

The Browns announced the game status for a handful of players ahead of Week 7 against the Bengals.

RB Nick Chubb, LB Jordan Hicks, RB Nyheim Hines, C Ethan Pocic, S Juan Thornhill are questionable for Sunday.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski said that he expects Chubb to play on Sunday. This will be Chubb's first game since the season-ending knee injury he endured in Week 2 of the 2023 season. He was a limited participant in practice the previous two weeks and was a full participant throughout this week.

"Talking with Nick about how he feels and talking with Duce, we have a plan in place," Stefanski said. "And then you have to be ready to adjust based on how Nick is feeling."

Hines, who is also working his way back from a knee injury that kept him out of the 2023 season, is "unlikely" to play on Sunday, according to Stefanski. They will continue to monitor how he progresses.

Pocic, who has been dealing with a knee injury, did not participate in practice on Wednesday, but was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. Stefanski said they will make a determination on Pocic for Sunday after they see his progress from Friday's practice.

"With a lot of these guys, want to see how they respond to today's practice, so I'd put (Pocic) in that category)," Stefanski said. "I think he's working really hard. He's battling. He moves around well, so we'll see how he responds to today's practice, how he feels tomorrow and make a determination from there."

RB Jerome Ford and S Ronnie Hickman are out. Ford is working through a hamstring injury and did not participate in practice throughout the week. S Ronnie Hickman is dealing with an ankle injury, and did not participate in practice throughout the week.
