The Browns announced the game status for a number of players ahead of their Week 18 matchup against the Ravens.

RB Jerome Ford, LB Jordan Hicks, TE David Njoku, RB Pierre Strong Jr. and CB Denzel Ward are all listed as out. All five players will see their 2024 season come to an end with missing the final game of the regular season.

Ford, who sustained an ankle injury in Week 17, did not participate in practice throughout the week. Hicks, who sustained a concussion in Week 17, also did not participate in practice throughout the week.

Njoku has been dealing with a knee injury he sustained in Week 16 against the Bengals. He did not play in Week 17 against the Dolphins and did not participate in practice throughout the week.

"I think he's always looking to build on some really high moments," head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "So, part of that is just getting healthy and being able to do it."

Strong, who sustained a concussion in Week 17, also did not practice throughout the week, and Stefanski said earlier in the week that Strong was in the concussion protocol. Ward sustained a shoulder injury in Week 17 and did not participate throughout the week of practice.

"Obviously disappointed with this injury but can't take away from how well he's played this season," Stefanski said. "Teams don't often throw his way. When they do, it's not oftentimes successful. He's just got that innate ability to defend the other team's best guy, typically. So, really proud of how he played. I think there's always room to improve. I think Denzel would tell you that there's always room to improve. But played at a really high level."

Mitchell, who was not on the daily practice reports on Tuesday and Wednesday, is dealing with a knee injury.

Okoronkwo is working through a knee injury, and he was a limited participant in practice throughout the week.

Tomlinson sustained a knee injury in practice on Wednesday and was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday. However, Stefanski said Tomlinson avoided "major" injury.

Winston has been working through a right shoulder injury. He served as the emergency quarterback in Week 17 and was a limited participant in practice throughout the week. Stefanski said earlier in the week he envisioned Winston would serve as the emergency quarterback in Week 18 against the Ravens.

Both Whiteheart and Woods were both limited participant in practice throughout the week with knee injuries.
