The Browns announced the game status for several players ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Dolphins.
TE David Njoku, DE Ogbo Okoronkwo and WR Cedric Tillman are all listed as out for Week 17.
Njoku, who came out of Week 16 against the Bengals with a knee injury, did not participate in practice throughout the week. He had returned in Week 16 after sustaining a hamstring injury that caused him to miss one game in Week 15. Njoku played throughout Week 16, finishing with eight receptions for 66 yards against the Bengals.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Okoronkwo sustained his knee injury against the Bengals, and did not participate throughout the week of practice.
Tillman will miss his fifth consecutive game with a concussion. He first sustained the concussion in Week 12 against the Steelers. He was a limited participant in practice throughout the week.
QB Jameis Winston is listed as questionable with a right shoulder injury.
Winston served as the emergency quarterback in Week 16 as he was dealing with the shoulder injury. He was a limited participant in practice throughout this week, and Stefanski said that if Winston is healthy, he will serve as the backup quarterback in Week 17. They will use the next 48 hours to come to the decision about who will serve as the backup quarterback.
