The Browns announced the game status for several players ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Chiefs.
TE David Njoku (hamstring), LG Joel Bitonio (back), DT Mike Hall Jr. (knee) and CB Myles Harden (tibia) are questionable for Week 15 against the Chiefs.
Njoku sustained a hamstring in injury in Week 14 against the Steelers, and did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that there is still potential for Njoku to play on Sunday.
Bitonio did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday of this week but was back on the practice field on Friday. Stefanski said Bitonio was moving around during Friday's practice, and they will see how he responds in the next 48 hours.
Bitonio said on Thursday the injury did not occur during the game in Week 14 but felt the back injury in the days following.
"Yeah, I mean I know what works to get it better," Bitonio said Thursday. "It's just always the timetable of how it works through. It's kind of just jumped up on me, so there's not really an expected thing, but I do have some experience rehabbing it, so hopefully we can use that to our advantage."
Hall was a limited participant in practice throughout the week after he was designated for return to practice on Dec. 11. Harden, who was designated for return to practice on Nov. 27, was a full participant throughout the week. Both Hall and Harden are still on injured reserve, but Stefanski said the plan is to activate both Hall and Harden before Sunday's game.
Stefanski said that LB Khaleke Hudson was injured in practice on Thursday and is listed as questionable against the Chiefs.
WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) is out for Week 15. Tillman returned to practice this week and was a limited participant throughout the week, but Stefanski said that Tillman is not all the way through the concussion protocol yet. Tillman will miss his third straight game after he sustained the concussion in Week 12 against the Steelers.
