The Browns announced the game status for a few players ahead of Week 2 against the Jaguars.
RT Jack Conklin is questionable as he continues his return from the season-ending knee injury he endured in 2023. Conklin was a limited participant in practice throughout the week but was able to do more in practice. He did not play in the first game of the regular season against the Cowboys.
"I think anyone that's coming off of an injury with more reps, you continue to feel more confident and comfortable and move better, all those things with more reps," head coach Kevin Stefanski said.
Stefanski said they will make a determination of who will start at right tackle after they see how everyone came out of Friday's practice.
LT Jedrick Wills Jr. is out for the second consecutive game. Wills did not practice on Wednesday but was a limited participant on Thursday. He was also at practice on Friday. Stefanski said that Wills continues to progress as well, as he returned to practice for the first time since his season-ending injury on Sept. 4.
TE David Njoku is out with an ankle injury. Stefanski announced on Wednesday that Njoku would be out for Week 2 and is considered week to week. Njoku did not participate in practice throughout the week.
