Injury Report Week 3 9.20

The Browns announced the game status for a handful of players ahead of Week 3 against the Giants.

TE David Njoku and RB Pierre Strong Jr. are out. Njoku will miss his second consecutive game with an ankle injury that he sustained in Week 1 against the Cowboys. Njoku did not participate in practice throughout the week.

Strong sustained a hamstring injury in Week 2 against the Jaguars in the third quarter. Strong did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

RT Jack Conklin and LT Jedrick Wills Jr. are both questionable heading into Sunday's matchup. Conklin was questionable heading into both Week 1 and Week 2 but was ultimately ruled inactive for both games. Wills was out for Week 1 and Week 2.

Conklin was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, while Wills was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski said that they will evaluate how they each came through Friday's practice and this weekend before a decision is made about their status for Sunday's game.

"That's what we'll do with all of our guys," Stefanski said. "Check in with them tomorrow. Check in with them game day and make sure they're feeling ready to roll."

Yet, as they await the status of their tackles, Stefanski said they do have a plan in place for different scenarios depending on their availability.
