The Cleveland Browns have signed OL Kyle Friend to the practice squad. The move follows LB Xavier Woodson-Luster's elevation to the club's active roster last week.
Friend is 6-2, 305 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of Temple. He was on the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad for two weeks this season after spending all of the offseason and training camp with the Carolina Panthers. Originally an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2016, Friend also spent time on the Jets' and Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squads over the last two years. He's a native of Harrisburg, Pa.
