The Browns have signed DE Elerson Smith to the practice squad.

Smith (6-7, 245) is officially in his third NFL season out of Northern Iowa. Originally a fourth-round pick by the Giants in 2021, Smith has appeared in 15 career games.

Smith has played in two games with the Browns this season, taking the field in Week 11 against the Saints and Week 12 against the Steelers. He's recorded two tackles this season.
