The Cleveland Browns have signed DL Stephen Paea (pronounced pie-YAH). To make room on the roster, the team waived/injured RB Rajion Neal.
Paea is a 6-1, 300 pound veteran officially in his sixth NFL season out of Oregon State. Originally a second round pick by Chicago in 2011, Paea has appeared in 66 career games with 41 starts. He has logged 113 tackles, 13.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. Last season, he appeared in 11 games with the Redskins. He was waived by Washington on Aug. 30. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Paea graduated from Timpview High School in Provo, Utah.
Neal left last night's preseason finale against the Bears with a quad injury in the fourth quarter. He was signed on August 4th.
