The Cleveland Browns have signed DL Nick Hayden.
Hayden is 6 foot 3, 295 pounds and entering his seventh NFL season out of Wisconsin. Originally selected by Carolina in the sixth round of the 2008 draft, Hayden has appeared in 76 games with Carolina (2008-10), Cincinnati (2011) and Dallas (2013-15).
He has logged 183 career tackles, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. Last year, he started 15 of his 16 games with the Cowboys and totaled 48 tackles and a fumble recovery.
A native of Hartland, Wis., he graduated from Arrowhead High School.
The Browns roster is currently at the maximum of 90 players.
