Browns elevate WR Da'Mari Scott, LB Xavier Woodson-Luster to active roster

The Cleveland Browns have signed WR Da'Mari Scott and LB Xavier Woodson-Luster to the active roster from the practice squad. In addition, the team placed WR Rod Streater (neck) on injured reserve and waived/injured LB James Burgess Jr. (hamstring). The club also signed OL Jake Eldrenkamp and WR Blake Jackson to the practice squad.

Scott is a 6-0, 205 pound rookie out of Fresno State. Initially signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent, Scott has spent the first six weeks of the season on the club's practice squad. He recorded eight receptions for 86 yards during the preseason. Scott is a native of Muskegon Heights, Mich. He will wear No. 10.

Woodson-Luster is 6-1, 220 pounds and in his second NFL season out of Arkansas State. Originally signed by Oakland as an undrafted free agent in 2017, he appeared in 14 games last year and registered seven tackles on defense and four on special teams. He spent training camp with the Bills this season and was signed to the Browns' practice squad last week. He is a native of Eufaula, Ala. He will wear No. 56.

Streater appeared in three games and recorded one special-teams tackle this season. Burgess appeared in three games and totaled seven tackles.

Eldrenkamp is 6-5, 305 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of Washington. Originally signed by the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2017, Eldrenkamp spent time on the Rams' practice squad last year. He is a native of Medina, Wash. 

Jackson is 5-10, 200 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of Mary Hardin-Baylor. A quarterback in college, Jackson appeared in 39 games, passing for 4,311 yards and 49 touchdowns. He spent training camp with the Browns this season and had one reception for a 22-yard touchdown during the preseason. Jackson has also spent time in the CFL. He is a native of Houston, Texas.
