The Cleveland Browns activated DB Terrance Mitchell (wrist) from injured reserve. In addition, the team placed TE Pharaoh Brown (shoulder) on injured reserve.
Mitchell, who joined the Browns as an unrestricted free agent this year, started each of the first four games this season. He recorded 19 tackles, one interception, three passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He fractured his wrist in the second quarter at Oakland on Sept. 30, and was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 2.
Brown has been inactive the past five games and also spent four weeks on the team's practice squad. He was limited after leaving yesterday's practice with a shoulder injury.
