The Browns' first pick of the 2019 draft class is officially locked in as part of the franchise.
Greedy Williams signed his contract Tuesday, the team announced.
Williams was selected by the Browns with the 46th overall pick of the 2019 draft. The cornerback was a two-time first-team All-SEC selection and a consensus All-American selection in 2018.
Williams participated in rookie minicamp during the first weekend in May in Berea and has continued acclimating through organized team activities.

"He is smooth," Kitchens said during rookie minicamp. "He transitions well from a back peddle and can close on the ball. He is long, of course, and then he competes."
Williams joins a defensive backfield that features another high pick of recent drafts, corner Denzel Ward, who was the No. 4 overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft. Williams is also one of three defensive backs selected by the Browns in the 2019 draft, with cornerback Donnie Lewis (221st overall) and safety Sheldrick Redwine (119th overall) being the other two.
Only one pick from the Browns' 2019 class remains unsigned: linebacker Sione Takitaki.
