The Cleveland Browns have signed WR Ishmael Hyman. He participated in the team's minicamp this week on a tryout basis.
Hyman is 6-0, 196 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of James Madison. Hyman helped JMU capture the 2016 FCS National Championship, while recording 29 receptions for 408 yards and four touchdowns as a senior. Most recently, Hyman was a member of the Orlando Apollos of the Alliance of American Football league. He is a native of Manalapan, N.J.
