The Cleveland Browns have signed T Germain Ifedi to the active roster from the practice squad and placed G Wyatt Teller (knee) on injured reserve. In addition, the team has signed T Sebastian Gutierrez, T Ricky Lee III and DE Elerson Smith to the practice squad and released LB Luiji Vilain from the practice squad.
Ifedi (6-5, 325) is in his ninth NFL season out of Texas A&M. Originally a first-round pick by Seattle in 2016, Ifedi has appeared in 104 career games with 83 starts with the Seahawks (2016-19), Bears (2020-21), Falcons (2023) and Browns (2024). Ifedi will wear No. 65.
Teller, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, started the first three games this season at right guard.
Gutierrez (6-6, 310) is officially in his first NFL season out of Minot State. Originally signed by Denver as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Guiterrez has appeared in one game with the Raiders in 2022. He has spent time on the practice squads in New England (2022), Las Vegas (2022-23) and San Franscico (2024). He will wear No. 60.
Lee (6-6, 305) is in his second NFL season out of North Carolina A&T. Originally signed by Carolina as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Lee appeared in six games as a rookie. He has spent time this season on Minnesota's practice squad. Lee will wear No. 63.
Smith (6-7, 245) is officially in his third NFL season out of Northern Iowa. Originally a fourth-round pick by the Giants in 2021, Smith has appeared in 13 career games. Last season, he spent time on the Raiders' and Jets' practice squads. Smith will wear No. 52.
