The Cleveland Browns have signed RB John Kelly Jr. and placed WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) on injured reserve. In addition, the club signed RB Aidan Robbins and TE Cameron Latu to the practice squad and released K Andre Szmyt from the practice squad. The team also waived LB Brandon Bouyer-Randle from injured reserve.
Kelly (5-10, 205) is officially in his third NFL season out of Tennessee. Originally a sixth-round pick by the Rams in 2018, Kelly has appeared in 15 career games, including two with the Ravens this season. Kelly appeared in five games with the Browns from 2021-23 and spent training camp with the team this season. He will wear No. 42.
Tillman appeared in six games with one start this season. He recorded 29 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns.
Robbins (6-2, 237) is a rookie out of Brigham Young. Originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent, he spent training camp with the team. Robbins will wear No. 49.
Latu (6-5, 245) is in his second NFL season out of Alabama. Originally a third-round pick by San Francisco in 2023, Latu initially joined the Browns practice squad on Aug. 29 and was released on Dec. 18. Latu will wear No 44.
