The Cleveland Browns have signed WR Kaden Davis, DT Michael Dwumfour and S Christopher Edmonds to the active roster from the practice squad and placed RB Jerome Ford (ankle), TE David Njoku (knee) and RB Pierre Strong Jr. (concussion) on injured reserve. In addition, the team has elevated CB Kahlef Hailassie (pronounced: kuh-LEEF huh-LAW-see) and RB Jacob Kibodi from the practice squad. The club has also downgraded DT Dalvin Tomlinson (knee) to out for Saturday's game.
Davis (6-1, 193) is officially in his first NFL season out of Northwest Missouri State. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Broncos in 2022, he has spent time this season on the practice squads in Detroit, Denver and Cleveland. Davis will wear No. 89.
Dwumfour (6-1, 296) is in his third NFL season out of Rutgers. Originally signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2021, he has appeared in 12 career games with the Texans (2021-22) and 49ers (2022). He has amassed 13 career tackles, a half-sack and one fumble recovery. Dwumfour will wear No. 62.
Edmonds (6-2, 210) is an undrafted rookie out of Arizona State. He has spent the entire season on the Browns' practice squad and appeared in one game. Edmonds will wear No. 41.
Ford appeared in 14 games with six starts this season. He is leading the team with 565 rushing yards with three touchdowns, while adding 37 receptions for 225 yards.
Njoku started 11 games and registered 64 receptions for 505 yards and a team-leading five touchdowns.
Strong appeared in 14 games this season and recorded 108 rushing yards and 104 receiving yards.
Hailassie (6-1, 195) is in his second NFL season out of Western Kentucky. Originally signed by Kansas City as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Hailassie has appeared in 10 career games with the Browns. He will wear No. 25.
Kibodi (6-1, 225) is a rookie out of Louisiana-Lafayette. Originally signed by the Saints as an undrafted free agent, he has spent time on the practice squads in New Orleans and Cleveland this season. Kibodi will wear No. 36.
