The Cleveland Browns have elevated CB Kahlef Hailassie (pronounced: kuh-LEEF huh-LAW-see) and WR James Proche II from the practice squad. In addition, the team has downgraded WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) to out and added a back injury to CB Martin Emerson Jr.'s questionable status.
Hailassie (6-1, 195) is in his second NFL season out of Western Kentucky. Originally signed by Kansas City as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Hailassie has appeared in 10 career games with the Browns. He will wear No. 25.Proche (5-11, 193) is in his fifth season in the NFL out of SMU. Originally a sixth-round pick by Baltimore in 2020, he has appeared in 59 career games, including 16 with the Browns over the past two seasons. He has registered 28 career receptions for 299 yards. Proche will wear No. 11.
