Former professional mixed martial artist Stipe Miocic served as the Browns Dawg Pound Captain ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Chiefs.
Miocic smashed a Chiefs-themed guitar, firing up Browns fans at Huntington Bank Field moments before kickoff.
Miocic was born and raised in Euclid and wrestled at Cleveland State before beginning his mixed martial arts career.
After fighting for the North American Allied Fight Series in 2010, Miocic joined the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2011. Miocic won his first Heavyweight Title in 2016, defeating FabrÃcio Werdum by total knockout in the fight's first round. He retired from mixed martial arts in November 2024 after falling to current UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.
Miocic finished his UFC career with 20 wins, five losses and zero draws. He now works as a full-time firefighter and paramedic and has two kids with his wife Ryan Marie Carney.
