Back to School with the Cleveland Browns! | Stay in The Game!

The Browns Stay in The Game program was excited to welcome kids back to school with multiple takeovers.

Jr. Browns Backers Kids Club Field Day at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus on September 29, 2024. Jr. Browns Backers partners include University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's, Cardinal Credit Union, and College Advantage.

In the first episode of Browns Give Back, Jerod Cherry dives into what the Browns did to serve the community during the month of September. Browns players Mo Hurst, Joel Bitonio, Jerome Ford, Dustin Hopkins, Myles Garrett and Cedric Tillman volunteer their time to help emphasize the importance of starting the school year with good attendance. Other highlights include the return of High School Game of the Week, Rookie Tackle Takeovers and Alumni Weekend festivities!

In support of Service Dog Awareness Month, Milk-Bone and Barking Backers contributed $6,250 to Canine Assistants last week at University Hospitals thanks to our Premium Barking Backer members! Mo Hurst and Jerome Ford were in attendance to help present the donation. #BrownsGiveBack #BrownsCommunity

On March 21st, the Browns hosted 'A New Era Summit presented by Gatorade' for Girls High School Flag Football Athletes

The Browns invited 40 students from Euclid City Schools, a Stay in the Game! district, to CrossCountry Mortgage Campus to learn about the wide array of career paths available in sports from Browns front office staff members.

The CL3 Alliance hosted the 18th Conversations for Change, where over 100 officers and youth were invited to participate in conversations about Athletes & Law Enforcement Coming Together.

Browns offensive lineman Joel Bitonio partnered with Meijer to provide 40 kids from the City of Cleveland Recreation Centers with a Meijer shopping spree. Each kid was paired with one of Joel's teammates and was given a $150 gift card to shop.

Through his foundation Change Our Futures, Browns safety Rodney McLeod and Meijer provided 20 Northeast Ohio families with $500 each to spend during a shopping spree at Meijer. McLeod's Change Our Future is a youth development organization that seeks to remove barriers and labels placed on underserved communities by empowering people through education, advocacy and awareness.

Stay in the Game! visited General Johnnie Wilson Middle School as part of the Thursday Night Football for Good initiative to celebrate student attendance and the educators that help make students want to come to school every day.
