We're combing the stat sheets and analyzing the biggest numbers to come from the Browns' 20-16 win over the Lions.
78 - Yards of offense amassed by running back Dontrell Hilliard, who hadn't played in a preseason game since an up-and-down night Week 1 against the Redskins. Hilliard broke off a 22-yard run and found the end zone on a 7-yard reception to cap a productive first half.
19 - Sacks amassed by the Browns during the 2019 preseason. Devaroe Lawrence led the way with four, the last of which he picked up on the first defensive play of the game. Cleveland had 14 of its 19 in the last two games.
403 - Passing yards by Garrett Gilbert, the leader for Cleveland during the preseason. On Thursday, he was 13-of-24 for 117 yards with a touchdown -- his third of the preseason.
6 - Consecutive field goals made by Austin Seibert to close the preseason. The fifth-round rookie connected on kicks from 36 and 33 yards Thursday to go along with two extra points.
16 - Different Browns players who were targeted with at least one pass Thursday. That group included offensive tackle Travis Vornkahl, who caught a deflected screen pass for a loss of 7 yards.
40 - Yards of offense by Detroit in Thursday's first half. The Browns defense did not allow any points in the first half of each of the final two preseason games.
33.3 - Average net punt yards for Jamie Gillan, who handled all of Cleveland's punting duties for a second consecutive game. His net average last week at Tampa was 44.
2 - Consecutive wins for the Browns in the Great Lakes Classic, which was revitalized last year after a three-year hiatus.
