The Browns fell to 3-13 after losing their final home game of the season to the Dolphins in Week 17.

After failing to sustain scoring drives in the first half, the Browns offense continued to struggle in the second, with all seven of their second half drives resulting in either punts or turnovers.

The Miami offense struggled at times against the Browns defense but put together two touchdown drives in the second half to build a comfortable lead. QB Tyler Huntley, who spent the 2024 preseason with the Browns, threw for one touchdown and rushed for another as the Dolphins earned a 20-3 win.

Here are 10 key numbers from the Browns' loss in Week 17.

2 – QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson finished with two turnovers in the Browns' loss. Thompson-Robinson threw an interception in the second quarter on a deep ball intended for WR Jerry Jeudy and fumbled in the third quarter after being sacked by Dolphins LB Emmanuel Ogbah.

2 – The Browns defense held the Dolphins to just two of their 11 third down attempts. The Dolphins' first third down conversion of the game came in the third quarter and led to their first of two touchdowns scored in the second half.

3 – DE Myles Garrett and LB Devin Bush each led the Browns with three tackles for loss. Garrett now has 21 tackles for loss this season and Bush has eight.

9 – The Browns committed nine penalties for a net loss of 84 yards against the Dolphins. Three of their nine penalties occurred before the snap and an additional three were called against Thompson-Robinson for intentional grounding.

14 – With two sacks against the Dolphins, Garrett reached a total of 14 for the 2024 season. His 14 sacks this season are tied for the league lead and made the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year the first player to record 14 or more sacks in four consecutive seasons.

49 – RB D'Onta Foreman led the Browns rushing attack with 49 rushing yards on 13 carries. RB Pierre Strong Jr. added 33 yards on five attempts and RB Jerome Ford had 22 yards on six carries before exiting in the second quarter with an ankle injury.
