MOBILE, Ala. – Over the course of three days of practices, players from both the National and American teams demonstrated their talent in front of executives and scouts from all 32 NFL teams at the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl. Moments throughout each day that brought reactions from teammates and the crowd in attendance.

With the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl game set to take place on Feb. 1, draft prospects will look to build off their week of practices.

Here are five players who stood out over the course of practices.

Edge Mike Green, Marshall

Over the first two days of practices, Edge Mike Green demonstrated his explosive first step, high motor, as well as his ability to rush the passer. He built of his 2024 season, in which he led the FBS with 17 sacks. In 1-on-1 reps throughout the practices, he showed off his power against offensive lineman and had a standout power move off the ball against OT Josh Conerly Jr. that caught the attention of the crowd.

LB Jeffrey Bassa, Oregon

On Day 1 of practices, LB Jeffrey Bassa made a pass breakup in a team period that garnered an audible response from those in the crowd. Throughout the practices, he looked solid in his coverage in 1-on-1 matchups and had a number of pass breakups. On Day 2, he was the second-fastest among the linebackers with a speed of 19.9 mph. Bassa also wore the green dot for the National team, earning the trust of the staff to communicate plays.

"I want to show these teams that I'm a true four-down linebacker," Bassa said. "I know that all eyes are going to be here, so it's a great opportunity to show teams that I can play the run very well, guard running backs out of the backfield, run with tight ends and run with receivers when you do need me to. So, I can play at all levels. And then at special teams as well. Special teams is a huge value and I take a lot of pride in it as well."

The 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl kicked off its first set of practices on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The National team took the field at Hancock Whitney Stadium in the morning before the American team practiced in the afternoon.

TE Mason Taylor, LSU

TE Mason Taylor showcased his ball skills over the course of practices, especially in 1-on-1 matchups with the defensive backs. He caught passes in traffic and in tight coverage, showed off his strong hands at the catch point and finished through contact. He did the same during the 2024 season, in which he led SEC tight ends in contested catches with eight. Taylor also had a nice one-handed snag on the sideline in a team period on a pass from QB Jalen Milroe.

The American and National teams each held their second of three practices on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in preparation for the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl on Feb.1.

TE Harold Fannin Jr., Bowling Green

Over the three days of practices, TE Harold Fannin Jr. displayed his speed and quickness in his routes, as well as his strong hands at the catch point. On the third day of practices, Fannin also caught a one-handed catch in the end zone in 1-on-1 red zone drills.

Yet, there was one area of his game he wanted to illustrate to the scouts and NFL personnel in attendance.

"My blocking," Fannin said. "I haven't really had enough chances to block because I'm the top receiver in the country, so I want to show everybody that I can block and be an all-round tight end."

In team periods, Fannin was able to do just that. In different reps, he showcased his ability to block – such as one where he got to his second level assignment to open a hole for Miami RB Damien Martinez.

WR Tez Johnson, Oregon

WR Tez Johnson demonstrated his strong ability as a route runner and pass catcher over the three practices, and displayed how he can create separation from defensive backs. He also has shown a level of quickness that has made him difficult to guard in matchups.

In 1-on-1 matchups, Johnson caught a pass from QB Dillon Gabriel with a defender in tight coverage. Then in red zone 7-on-7 drills, he caught another pass from Gabriel with a defender on him and stayed in bounds in the end zone.

Players across different position groups stood out at the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl, showcasing their talent on the practice field. Here are top prospects to watch for throughout draft season.
