Beyond Football

• Supported the Gunner Martin Foundation through My Cause, My Cleats.
• Annually volunteers as a counselor at a summer camp in Florida for children with muscular dystrophy.
• Wore slogan "End Racism" on his helmet last season as part of the NFL's social justice initiative. Also spoke to Northeast Ohio students as part of the Build the Bridge program created to innovate a coalition of coaches, players, parents, administration, and community members to foster the success of student-athletes through social-emotional, educational, and athletic advancement.
• Father, Jim, has been battling diabetes for the past 25 years, so through the league's My Cause My Cleats campaign he represents his dad in collaboration with the American Diabetes Association.
