The Browns on Tuesday confirmed that WR Michael Woods II suffered a ruptured Achilles that will require surgery. He will likely miss the entirety of the 2023 season.
Woods, who was working out in Texas, was set to enter his second NFL season after playing 10 games for the Browns last year. A 2021 sixth-round pick out of Oklahoma, Woods caught five passes for 45 yards and also played on special teams as a rookie.
