Watson surgery update 10.25

QB Deshaun Watson underwent successful surgery to repair his Achilles injury which he sustained in Week 7 against the Bengals. Watson was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 22 and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season. Watson ended his 2024 season completing 137 of 216 passing attempts for 1,148 yards and five touchdowns.

The Browns released the following statement:

QB Deshaun Waston underwent successful surgery today to repair his ruptured right Achilles tendon. The surgery was performed by Dr. Bob Anderson, a foot and ankle specialist in Charlotte, NC, and a full recovery is expected.
