Dawand Jones out for the remainder of the 2024 season

The Browns left tackle sustained a fractured leg injury in the second quarter

Browns Dawand Jones Injury Report

Browns starting left tackle Dawand Jones will miss the remainder of the 2024 season with a fracture in his leg that will require surgery, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced after the Browns' 35-14 loss to the Saints.

Jones made seven starts this season, four as a right tackle and three on the left side. He suffered the injury during Sunday's second quarter and was replaced by veteran Germain Ifedi.

"I thought he was doing some decent things over there, as we talk about transitioning to that side," Stefanski said after the game. "Disappointed for any guy that's out for the season when they have a season-ending injury, he knew it right away and so I feel badly for him."

Jones is in his second season in the NFL after being selected in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State.
