Browns land 2nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft 

Browns will have a first-round draft pick for the first time since the 2021 season

The Browns are poised to be back on the clock in the first round during the 2025 NFL Draft.

With the results of the early slate of games in Week 18, the Browns have officially landed the second overall pick in the first round. It's the first time the Browns have held a first-round pick since the 2021 season, as the previous three were sent to Houston in the trade for QB Deshaun Watson.

With the Patriots 23-16 win over the Bills, and the Titans 23-14 loss to the Texans, the Browns claimed the second pick with their 3-14 record. The Browns ended their season with a 35-10 loss to the Ravens in Week 18.

The last time the Browns picked in the first round in 2021 they chose CB Greg Newsome II with the 26th overall pick. The last time Cleveland held a top 10 pick was in 2018, and the Browns chose QB Baker Mayfield with the No.1 overall pick as well as CB Denzel Ward with the fourth pick.

Outside of their first-round pick, the Browns also hold their own picks in Rounds 2-4 as well as Round 6. They a have third-round pick from Buffalo (WR Amari Cooper trade), a fifth-round pick from Detroit (DE Za'Darius Smith trade), a sixth-round pick from Minnesota (DE Za'Darius Smith trade) and a sixth-round pick from Chicago (DT Chris Williams trade).
