A pair of Browns rookies have been nominated (again) as the NFL Rookie of the Week.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield and cornerback Denzel Ward are up for the weekly award after strong performances in Sunday's overtime win over the Baltimore Ravens.
The duo are up against Patriots running back Sony Michel, Giants running back Saquon Barkley and Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith.
Ward, the former Ohio State standout and fourth overall pick, recorded an interception, a crucial blocked kick and three pass breakups.
Mayfield, the former Oklahoma star and No. 1 NFL Draft pick, passed for a career-high 342 yards, a touchdown and an interception in his first victory since being named Cleveland's starter a few weeks ago.
Three Browns — Mayfield (Week 3), Ward (Week 1) and running back Nick Chubb (Week 4) — have already won the award through the first month of the season.
