The Browns announced that DE Alex Wright underwent successful surgery on Thursday in Dallas to repair his torn triceps that will force him to miss the remainder of the 2024 season.
The surgery was performed by Daniel E. Cooper, MD. A full recovery is expected by the start of the 2025 season.
Through the first four games of the 2024 season, Wright totaled eight tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one quarterback hit and one safety. His safety came in Week 2 against the Jaguars on a key defensive play when he sacked QB Trevor Lawrence in the end zone with less than two minutes left in the game.
