YYFFA Browns Visited Browns Training Facility
The Youngstown Youth Flag Football Association Browns visited the Browns Training Facility to kick off the 2019 NFL FLAG Championships. During the visit, each team received Browns swag to don while in Orlando, FL. These three flag football teams qualified for the NFL FLAG Championships by way of the Cleveland Browns NFL FLAG Regional Championships in Canton, OH. Tight End David Njoku and Wide Receiver Dan Williams joined the teams on the visit to the facility.
Three NFL FLAG teams from Youngstown, OH represented the Browns at the NFL FLAG Championships in Orlando, FL at the Pro Bowl.

NFL Youth Football Summit
Members of the Cleveland Browns Community Relations department attended the NFL Youth and High School Football Summit at the 2019 Pro Bowl. During the summit, staff members learned various initiatives, platforms and ideas to assist in advancing the game of football.
2018 Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year
The NFL announced the nominees for 2018 Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year Award! The 2018 Cleveland Browns Coach of the Year Tiger Laverde, Kirtland High School, is 1 of 32 nominees for the Coach of the Year Award! The Don Shula Award winner was announced during the 2019 Pro Bowl. Coach Gabe Infante, St. Joseph Preparatory Academy won the 2018 Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year.
In addition, Jack Bailey, OT – Kirtland High School, competed in the inaugural Play Football Skills Showdown at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
Congratulations to the Kent State signee Jack Bailey, as he won the Big Man Bench Showdown by bench pressing 225 lbs., 22 times. He also finished second place in the OL/DL Gauntlet Showdown. Jack competed against high school senior football players from all 32 NFL markets.
NFL FLAG – BGC National Player of the Year
The NFL announced that Antonio Bouldin, a member of the 2018 Jr. Browns NFL FLAG program (in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland) was named the NFL FLAG – BGC National Player of the Year. As the Player of the Year, Antonio received an all-expense trip to Orlando to participate in the Play Football Celebrity Flag Game and festivities taking place during Pro Bowl Week.
Play Football Celebrity Flag Game
During the 2019 Pro Bowl, NFL Legends, celebrities, influencers, and the youth football community participated in the first annual Play Football Celebrity Flag Game. The game was a friendly but competitive flag football game in which both teams will received a donation to a youth football organization of their Captain's choice --- and the winning team got bragging rights. The game provided an opportunity for fans of all ages, levels of play, and various areas of the entertainment industry to take the field and #LetsPlayFootball. Team Captains – Snoop Dogg and NFL Legend & Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. Antonio Bouldin participated on Team Snoop Dogg.
Meal Packing Champions for Local Food Bank (Community Day)
Myles Garrett and NFL FLAG youth packaged 5,000 nutritious meals to donate to a Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida at the Visa Center at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The meals were designed to provide vital nutrients to people of all ages and are fortified with over 20 different vitamins and minerals necessary for good health. #give10
