The Steelers battled back in the fourth quarter to tie the game with under two minutes remaining, but Szmyt connected on a 56-yard game-winning field goal to seal the win for the Browns. S Grant Delpit intercepted QB Aaron Rodgers to put the finishing touches on the Browns' third straight win.

Browns orchestrate game winning field goal drive
With their backs against the wall following a two-touchdown fourth quarter comeback from the Steelers, the Browns delivered a win in dramatic fashion. QB Deshaun Watson led the Browns' offense 36 net yards on seven plays to set up a game-winning field goal attempt.
Szmyt stepped up for the 56-yard field goal attempt with 15 seconds remaining and the game tied. As the ball sailed and went through the up rights, Huntington Bank Field erupted while players leaped in celebration.
Steelers storm back to tie game
Following the Browns' second quarter explosion, the offense struggled to put points on the board in the second half. Watson threw an interception early in the fourth quarter, which the Steelers capitalized off to jumpstart the comeback.
A few plays after the interception, Rodgers connected with WR DK Metcalf on for a 43-yard gain into Browns' territory. Not long after. Rodgers connected with TE Darnell Washington to cut into the Browns' lead.
After a Browns field goal, the Steelers tied the game with a late fourth quarter touchdown. A defensive pass interference call on TE Darnell Washington placed the ball on the 3-yard line with 1:46 minutes remaining. From there, Rodgers connected with TE Pat Freiermuth for the touchdown to move the Steelers within two points. On the ensuing 2-point conversion, Rodgers ran the ball in on a quarterback sneak to tie up the game.
Offense explodes for three touchdowns in second quarter
There was a night-and-day difference between the Browns' first and second quarter offensive performances. After a first quarter where they ran just seven plays for 31 yards across two drives, the Browns' offense tallied 191 yards and three touchdowns on 20 plays in the second quarter.
Following Ward's interception that gave them the ball on their own 44-yard line, Cleveland only needs four plays to find the end zone. RB Jaleel McLaughlin took a handoff 28 yards to the end zone for his first touchdown of the season.
On their next offensive possession, it didn't take long for the Browns to strike again. the After forcing a Steelers three-and-out, Watson connected with WR Denzel Boston deep down the field for a 60-yard gain on the first play of the drive. Three plays later, RB Quinshon Judkins punched home his first touchdown of the season from 2 yards out.
The Browns' offense picked up right where they left off on their third possession of the second quarter, as Watson orchestrated an 11-play, 62-yard touchdown drive. TE Harold Fannin Jr. capped off the possession with a 2-yard touchdown reception, his second straight game finding the end zone.
Momentum building plays from Browns' defense helps turn game
On the first drive of the game, the Browns' defense struggled to get out of their own way. They were called for five penalties while the Steelers marched 73 yards on 17 plays for the first touchdown of the game. But those struggles evaporated quickly.
Veteran CB Denzel Ward, who was called for an illegal contact on the first drive, redeemed himself quickly. Needing a momentum-changing play, Ward delivered, intercepting Rodgers on a pass intended for WR Michael Pittman Jr. to set up the Browns' first touchdown of the game.
On the Steeler's fourth drive of the game, DE Isaiah McGuire brought down Rodgers for a loss of six yards on third-and-4. K Chris Boswell missed the ensuing 48-yard field goal attempt on the next play to maintain the Browns' touchdown cushion.
The Browns' defense carried over their clutch play into the second half. Following a fumble from Watson in the third quarter — which set up Pittsburgh's offense with a prime opportunity to chip into the Browns' lead — DT Mike Hall Jr. closed the door quickly with a sack on third-and-15 to force the Steelers out of field goal range.
