Photos: 2024 In Focus - The Return of Nick Chubb

RB Nick Chubb is preparing to take the field for the Browns as he returns from a season-ending knee injury he sustained in Week 2 in 2023. Chubb has spent the past year recovering from two knee surgeries, working his way back. In his six seasons with the Browns, Chubb has totaled 1,238 carries for 6,511 rushing yards and 48 rushing touchdowns, as well as 123 receptions for 1,011 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

Through the first six games of the 2024 season, S Rodney McLeod Jr. has made an impact on the defensive side of the ball, as he has two touchdowns this season. The first came on a 25-yard fumble return for a score against Las Vegas, while the second came when he returned a blocked field goal 50-yards for a touchdown against the Eagles — the Browns first blocked field goal returned for a touchdown since Leigh Bodden on Nov. 13, 2005. McLeod has also totaled 24 tackles, one fumble recovery and two passes defensed.

P Corey Bojorquez is leading the NFL with 1,197 punt yards this season and is fourth in the league with 10 inside the 20-yard line. In Week 4 against the Raiders, Bojorquez recorded an 84-yard punt, the longest punt of the 2024 season.

CB Denzel Ward recorded one pass defensed in Week 4 against the Raiders and is leading the Browns this season with seven total passes defensed. His seven passes defensed are tied to lead the league, and are tied for the fifth- most by a Brown after the first four games of a season.

The Browns will wear their alternate white helmets and white throwback jerseys for the first time this season in their Week 4 matchup against the Raiders. Cleveland featured these uniforms in three games during the 2023 season when the Browns faced the Steelers in Week 2, beat the 49ers in Week 6 and beat the Jets in Week 17.

The Browns hosted their Alumni Weekend, beginning with a "Welcome Celebration" at the West Bank Golf Club on Friday, Sept. 20. On Saturday, Sept. 21, about 25 alumni attended Saturday's practice with the Browns before the Legends Induction dinner for Phil Dawson and Jim Donovan, where 48 alumni and guests were in attendance. The weekend ended with Sunday's game against the Giants on Sept. 22, with about 60 alumni in attendance for the Browns Legends induction ceremony pregame and a halftime 5 vs. 5 flag football game, where Joe Haden and Josh Cribbs served as captains.

WR Jerry Jeudy has displayed his pass-catching abilities through the first two games of the season, as he's totaled eight receptions for 98 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The Browns signed 13 players to their practice squad. All 13 players spent time with the Browns during the 2024 preseason.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah signed a 3-year contract extension with the Browns, cementing himself as an important piece of their attack-style defense following a breakout 2023 season.
