Orpheus Roye (DL, 2000 to '07) Signed during free agency in 2000, Orpheus provided the Browns with stability at the defensive end position from 2000 to 2007.

Eric Steinbach (OL, 2007 to '11) Signed as a free agent in 2007 from the Cincinnati Bengals, Steinbach brought stability and a veteran presence to the offensive guard position for the Browns.

Al "Bubba" Baker (DE, 1987, 1989 to '90) Signed as a "Plan B" free agent in 1989 from the Minnesota Vikings, Baker provided a dominating pass rusher to a defensive line that helped guide the Browns to two AFC Championship appearances.

Chris Gardocki (P, 1999 to '03) Signed during free agency in 1999 from the Indianapolis Colts, Gardocki elevated the special teams of the Browns and helped to improve field position with the outstanding distance and accuracy of his punts.

Quentin Groves and Paul Kruger (LB, 2013 to Present) Signed in 2013, Groves and Kruger brought speed and athleticism to the linebacker position for the Browns.

Jamal Lewis (RB, 2007 to '09) Signed as a free agent in 2007 from the Baltimore Ravens, Lewis provided the Browns with their first back-to-back 1,000 seasons by a running back since Mike Pruitt in 1981.

Matt Stover (K, 1991 to '95) Signed as a "Plan B" free agent in 1991 from the New York Giants, Stover led the Browns in scoring ever year he played. His record for most field goals in a season (29) was broken by Phil Dawson in 2008.

Jamir Miller (LB, 1999 to '01) Signed as a free agent in 1999 from the Arizona Cardinals, Miller provided instant leadership to the newly returning Browns. He became the Browns first Pro Bowler since 1995 when he was selected in 2002.

Ryan Tucker (OL, 2002 to '09) Signed as a free agent in 2002 from the St. Louis Rams, Tucker provided a veteran anchor to the Browns offensive line for eight seasons.

Terrelle Smith (FB, 2004 to '06) Signed as a free agent in 2004 from the New Orleans Saints, Smith provided the Browns offense with a tremendous pass and run blocker in theiroffensive backfield.
