For the first time since 2008, the Browns won't enter Day 1 of the NFL Draft with a first-round pick.
Cleveland sent its first-round pick and a third-rounder in Wednesday's blockbuster trade with the Giants. The Browns acquired All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham and Pro Bowl pass rusher Olivier Vernon in exchange for offensive guard Kevin Zeitler, safety Jabrill Peppers, the 2019 first-round pick and a 2019 third-round pick that was acquired from the New England Patriots in a deal last year.
That leaves the Browns with eight selections, starting with their second-rounder (No. 49 overall). Cleveland holds two picks on Day 2 and six on Day 3. The Browns' third-round pick falls at No. 80 while the third-round pick Cleveland sent to the Giants -- an asset acquired in exchange for defensive tackle Danny Shelton -- falls at No. 95.
