The 2024 OHSAA Football State Championships stage officially set 

Two teams from Northeast Ohio to compete for a state title on Dec. 5 and Dec. 7

Following the state semifinals on Nov. 29, the matchups are now determined for the 53rd Annual Ohio High School Athletic Association Football State Championships. Seven title games will take place from Dec. 5-7 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, kicking off with the Division II game on Thursday, Dec. 5.

To participate in the excitement, the Cleveland Browns will be activating on-site with their "Deal or No Deal" Quarterback Throwing Net Game, giving away prizes and information on various programs such as Girls High School Flag Football, Rookie Tackle, Browns Flag In-Schools and other initiatives.

Two teams from Northeast Ohio are competing for state titles. Avon will face Cincinnati Anderson in the Division II championship game, while Kirtland will go up against Coldwater in the Division VI title game.

Here is a look at each division title game set to take place.

  • Division II – Thursday, Dec. 5, 7:00 PM
    • Cincinnati Anderson (15-0) vs. Avon (15-0)
  • Division VII – Friday, Dec. 6, 10:30 AM
    • Jeromesville Hillsdale (14-1) vs. Maria Stein Marion Local (15-0)
  • Division III – Friday, Dec. 6, 3:00 PM
    • Columbus Bishop Watterson (15-0) vs. Toledo Central Catholic (14-1)
  • Division I – Friday, Dec. 6, 7:30 PM
    • Powell Olentangy Liberty (13-2) vs. Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller (14-1)
  • Division VI – Saturday, Dec. 7, 10:30 AM
    • Coldwater (14-1) vs. Kirtland (15-0)
  • Division V – Saturday, Dec. 7, 3:00 PM
    • Liberty Center (15-0) vs. Ironton (14-1)
  • Division IV – Saturday, Dec. 7, 7:30 PM
    • Gnadenhutten Indian Valley (15-0) vs. Sandusky Perkins (14-1)

FINALS ON SPECTRUM AND OHSAA RADIO NETWORK
All seven championship games will be broadcast live on Spectrum News 1, with streaming available at OHSAA.tv. More details can be found HERE.
