Snap Count Review: Browns rookies, players locked in competitions get big action vs. Redskins

We're breaking down who played how much in the Browns' preseason opening win over the Redskins in our first installment of this next-day series.

-- Offensive linemen Austin Corbett and Brad Seaton led all players with 67 snaps apiece. Neither were starters, but both played nearly the entire game. Corbett, who has been locked in a competition at right guard, worked almost exclusively at center.

-- With Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry on the sidelines, Rashard Higgins and Jaelen Strong started and led all receivers with 40 snaps apiece. Higgins led all receivers with five receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown while Strong chipped in two catches for 27 yards.

-- In the first game without Duke Johnson, Dontrell Hilliard led the RBs with 38 snaps.

-- Here's how the playing time broke down for Cleveland's 2019 draft picks: CB Greedy Williams (46), LB Sione Takitaki (46), S Sheldrick Redwine (40), LB Mack Wilson (37), K Austin Seibert (5), OL Drew Forbes (31) and CB Donnie Lewis Jr. (15).

-- Of the team's undrafted free agents, OL Willie Wright played the most snaps (39).

-- The following offensive veterans played one series to start the game: QB Baker Mayfield, TE David Njoku, LT Greg Robinson, LG Joel Bitonio, C JC Tretter, RT Chris Hubbard and RB Nick Chubb.

-- The following defensive veterans played one series to start the game: DE Myles Garrett, LB Christian Kirksey, S Morgan Burnett and S Damarious Randall.

-- Garrett Gilbert played the most snaps of the quarterbacks with 36. David Blough played 17 and Drew Stanton logged 14.
