On the latest Brownscast, Max Linsky sits down with Cleveland wide receiver Andrew Hawkins to discuss what might be the most improbable route to the NFL we've ever seen.
Hawkins slept on friends' couches, caddied at the local golf course and even went on a reality TV show for more exposure. Coming out of college, Hawkins was smaller than most kickers at 5-foot-6, 160 pounds.
"To prove how good he could be, he was even willing to create a fake identity," Linsky said.
"I wasn't much of a prospect – actually I wasn't a prospect at all," Hawkins said matter-of-factly.
Sit back, relax and enjoy Linsky's conversation with Hawkins, who details the 29-year-old's wild journey into the NFL.
