Rookie cornerback Denzel Ward suffered a back injury and is considered questionable to return in Thursday's preseason game against the Eagles.
Ward suffered the injury tackling Eagles tight end Zach Ertz early with 10:31 to play in the first quarter.
He was able to get up and walk with the help of the team's medical staff after several minutes lying face down.
Ward, the former Ohio State star and Macedonia native, was the fourth overall pick in the NFL Draft. He earned a starting spot on Cleveland's defense earlier this spring.
