Many words were said at the podium and inside the Browns locker room after Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Giants.
These were the most important.
"The hard part for us right now is everything has to be perfect, and this is not going to be perfect football. Football is not perfect. It is a game. You are going to have the ups and downs and this and that. That is just how football goes, but you have to make enough plays to win. I wish I had the right answer for everybody that everybody is looking for. I am going to leave it at me, and we are just going to keep going from there." -- Browns coach Hue Jackson
"We have to fight through those things and find a way to make those plays that are going to get us over the hump. We haven't done that yet. It is frustrating. I'm going to speak from my end of it – the things that get you over the hump is playing more consistent football – I don't feel like I did that today." -- QB Josh McCown
"Our first goal was to come out here and win this game. Coach said just to keep your head up and keep fighting. We have four games left. We just have to finish out strong." -- DL Emmanuel Ogbah
"The way our defense played today, you can win a game that way. We could have beat that team. It's sad. Games that we can win, against a very good team, offensively, we just didn't do it. Whatever it is, we need to fix it. Our defense is out there playing their butts off. If you weren't looking at the score, you could look at the game and say that our defense played really good. We have to score points and help them out. That is why it's a team game." -- WR Terrelle Pryor Sr.
"It is a feeling of disappointment because we haven't won a game yet. I think today we felt offensively we didn't do enough to help the team win. I think the defense played one of their better games. We were able to move the ball sometimes, but we had some critical mistakes and I think that was the difference." -- OL Joe Thomas
"I would say we played very aggressive today. We came into the game saying that we were going to stop the run, and I think we did a really good job of that." -- DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun

"They got the young boy (DL Carl) Nassib coming off the edge. He was really disruptive and they have somebody stout and strong in No. 55 (DT Danny Shelton). Obviously you bring over someone special like (LB) Jamie Collins (Sr.) they have a good team. Things haven't been going how they want, but kid you not, they have a solid team over there and they are going to find ways to put it all together." -- Giants RB Rashad Jennings
"I have told our players, and I mean this, and I am going to tell all of you – this will be the last time, this year, that we ever feel the way we feel. I know that. I know that in my heart. I know that without question, and that is why I have always said if you are going to get us you better get us now because we are not going to feel like this a year from now." -- Jackson
