This year, 31 puppies found new homes through the Browns Puppy Pound, presented by Sugardale. Along with sponsoring the Puppy Pound, Sugardale also contributed a $5,000 donation to the Northeast Ohio SPCA.
Embrace Pet Insurance also played a significant role in this year's Browns training camp through the sponsorship of the Puppy Pound's adoption fees. As the official pet insurer of the Cleveland Browns and associate partner of the Barking Backers, Embrace Pet Insurance covered all adoption fees, which totaled nearly $4,000 and led to the adoption of 31 puppies during the training camp sessions, furthering their commitment to helping local dogs find loving homes. Their involvement not only supports the Cleveland Browns and the Northeast Ohio SPCA but also highlights their ongoing mission to positively impact the community and promote responsible pet ownership.
Since the program's launch in 2015, 770 puppies from the Northeast Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) have been adopted by Browns fans at training camp practices.
The Parma-based Northeast Ohio SPCA operates as a non-profit organization and is a no-kill pet shelter.
