Once again this October, the National Football League and the American Cancer Society® are uniting in "A Crucial Catch", which has raised over $8 million since 2009 to assist the Society in its priority to decrease breast cancer screening disparities. As millions of fans witness, NFL coaches and players will proudly wear pink hats, gloves, pins, and cleats as part of "A Crucial Catch", a nationwide breast cancer campaign to educate and screen women across the country.
On Sunday, October 9th, the Cleveland Browns will be celebrating breast cancer awareness and "A Crucial Catch" while helping the American Cancer Society share in hope, courage and caring to make the world free from the pain and suffering of breast cancer. Breast Cancer Survivors have the opportunity to be a part of this very special pre-game experience!
Nominations are now being accepted for this unique opportunity. If you would like to nominate a breast cancer survivor, click here and tell us why you would like them to receive this honor. Deadline to submit your nomination is Tuesday, September 27, 2016. The winners will be contacted by Friday, September 30.
The Cleveland Browns also invite the community to be a part of First and Ten by pledging to give back to your community. Visit the First and Ten section of clevelandbrowns.com/community to learn more on how you can make a difference through volunteerism, and share your story on how you are helping the American Cancer Society so you can inspire others, #give10.
