Once again this October, the National Football League and the American Cancer Society® are uniting through their impactful "A Crucial Catch", initiative focusing on early detection, education and access to lifesaving screening to catch cancer early, when it's most treatable. This partnership has raised over $17 million since 2009 to assist the Society in its priority to decrease cancer screening disparities.
On Sunday, October 8th, the Cleveland Browns will be celebrating breast cancer awareness and "Crucial Catch" while helping the American Cancer Society share in hope, courage and caring to make the world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. Breast Cancer Survivors have the opportunity to be a part of this very special game experience!
Nominations are now being accepted for this unique opportunity. If you would like to nominate a breast cancer survivor, click here and tell us why you would like them to receive this honor. Deadline to submit your nomination is Tuesday, September 26, 2017. The winners will be contacted by Friday, September 29.
The Cleveland Browns also invite the community to be a part of First and Ten by pledging to give back to your community.
